Harbour Green: A Bright and Spacious Residential Design

Creating a Vibrant Living Space in the Midst of Tall Buildings

The Harbour Green design project transformed a 2,200 square-foot apartment into a well-organized and spacious living space. The layout includes a living room, dining room, maid's room, den, son's room, master room, and a kitchen. The designer's attention to detail and thoughtful arrangement of each area contribute to the overall functionality and aesthetic appeal of the design.

To enhance the energetic rhythm of the space, a colorful Bonaldo table with six Leaf chairs takes center stage in the dining area. A Bang Boom light fixture is suspended from the ceiling, showcasing cherished moments captured in photographs. These elements add a touch of playfulness and personality to the design.

The glossy white walls surrounding the living and dining area create an atmosphere of weightlessness, while cleverly camouflaged doors maintain a neat and tidy appearance. In the son's room, two rooms were combined to create a larger play and bed area. A sliding blackboard door hides an electronic piano, maximizing space and organization.

In the master bedroom, a padded green headboard becomes the focal point, while side mirrors create the illusion of additional space. Behind a hidden door on the white wall adjacent to the bed, an ensuite bathroom and a small walk-in closet are cleverly combined. The use of white marble and mirrors in the bathroom visually expands the limited space, creating a luxurious and inviting atmosphere.

The Harbour Green design project was completed in January 2013 in Hong Kong. Its innovative approach to lighting, organization, and utilization of space has garnered recognition and acclaim. The design was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in 2013, a prestigious accolade that celebrates well-designed, practical, and innovative creations that meet professional and industrial requirements. This recognition highlights the design's ability to integrate industry best practices and technical characteristics, ultimately contributing to a better world.
